Newest Features
To keep you informed about updates and new features, we constantly add to our list with the most important news:
- Auto scheduling
- TimeTrack’s automatic scheduling allows you to calculate an optimized duty roster with just a few clicks, thanks to an innovative algorithm.
- Task scheduling
- TimeTrack’s task scheduling allows you to determine how many employees you need to perform a specific task and when.
- Dashboard
- In the personalizable dashboard, users can create widgets and get the ideal overview of the most important information in just a few seconds.
- Duty roster and appointment planer available on Android App
- Users can now view their shifts and appointments on the Android mobile app anytime, anywhere, which creates maximal flexibility.
- Employee Report
- Total overview of overtime or minus hours, hourly balance, open or used vacation days and hourly or vacation corrections of all employees.
- Single Sign On
- The following systems were integrated: Microsoft Azure AD and LDAP.
- Dashboard
- Now you can configure all the widgets that you want to keep track of in your personal overview – the dashboard.
- Control report
- In the control report, employees are displayed with the timeline and recorded times and absences. The times or attendances can be adjusted directly in the report.
- Employee status report
- In the employee status report, the time clocks of all employees are displayed and can be easily controlled.
- GPS Reports
- You can see where your employees have clocked in. This is especially ideal for industries that do not have a fixed work location.
- Workflows
- Workflows for notifications of all kinds. For example, if you haven’t clocked in, haven’t taken a break, have worked more than X extra hours, haven’t entered time for the previous day, and much more. It is completely configurable. There is also a view with all events/notifications where the leader/admin has a complete overview.
- Add Hashtags in Absences
- Users can now mark absences with hashtags. The admin can filter the absences according to the hashtags.
- Import the Absence-calendar as CVS
- You can export the calendar of absences as ICS and import it, for example, into Google Calendar.
- Hashtags in the Attendance-calendar
- The hashtags that you have inserted in attendances are displayed in the calendar and weekly view in the time entries.
- Absence-Management-Feature Extensions
- Our travel expense feature now covers all requirements. Admins can set travel expense models that automatically collect and suggest all fallen expenses. Thus, the accounting work is facilitated and the expenses are completely clear.
- Project-based resource planning
- Schedule your resources on a percentage or full basis to your projects. See when resources will be released or how many resources are still needed to complete the project.

Planned New Features
In addition to ongoing bug fixes and improvements, the following major features are scheduled:
- Workplace Planning
- You can create the workstations and employees can reserve a table / workstation for Monday 8-12, for example.
- Hourly rates
- You set a specific hourly rate for your employees for individual tasks on projects and choose between different currencies. You can set hourly rates for both internal and external employees.
- Payroll programs
- Integration with Personio and Sage
- GPS feature for project documentation
- A GPS feature within the mobile app for projects to allow project selection based on employee location will be implemented.
- Monthly hours
- You can also set the working hours model on a monthly basis. Thus, you can directly see how many hours your employees will work in a month.
- HR module
- The HR department can add various documents from the employees in the user accounts. In addition, it is also possible to define and edit individual fields.
- Workflows extensions
- The workflows feature is enhanced to provide the best personalized experience to our customers.
How We Choose New Functions
At TimeTrack, users come first. That’s why our new features are always well thought out:
- Customers contact us directly via email to tell us what they want and need.
- Together with our Customer Success Team, we decide which features would be most beneficial to our customers.
- We consider already existing features, and discuss in-house which features would fit best into the software.
How Long We Develop New Features
Of course, we want to keep you informed and regularly update our roadmap with the latest features. Unfortunately, we can’t give exact timelines for individual features and ask for your understanding. Our top priority is a bug-free software, which is why unexpected bugs or problems have to be prioritized at any time. However, as soon as these are fixed, we will be back behind the development of the planned features. We are also working at full speed to ensure that planned features are released as soon as possible and are quickly available to our customers.
